For those who may have been wondering why I've been so slow to draw or post anything, I apologize.  Work has been stressing me out and sucking away all my energy.  There's a light at the end of this tunnel in a couple months when I can quit but for now I'm regretting not taking that other one job a year ago instead of sticking with this one.  Even if it was another sales job at least I got holidays off... and didn't have to work commission unless I wanted to... and why didn't I take it again?  This job was fun for a while, but retail stinks sometimes.  And all my friends I stayed for have moved away or quit.  Let's just say things have gone d

My Webcomic is actually starting to get somewhere!    It's taken longer than it should have to make it twelve pages in... but hey, this is me, the slowest artist anywhere.  Maybe someday I'll actually (gasp!) finish a chapter!  I'm halfway there already.  And it's actually looking better than I hoped.  And now that I'm kind of getting a feel of what I want it to look and feel like, I hope it will go faster and slowly make more sense.  I was even able to get far enough to put the half chapter I have up on Tapastic.  I like the website I have, but it doesn't have a ton of views I think, and Tapastic is basically like deviantart for webcomic art

I have a new admiration for architects and vehicle designers, etc.  Used to be I had no interest at all in anything mechanical or anything with straight edges.  Never paid attention to them.  Never really looked at them because I was too busy looking at faces and the details of plants and animals.  And I was too busy drawing natural shapes and arbitrary lines and graceful sweeps of shape to try drawing anything more man-made unless I absolutely had to for art class.  Now for various reasons including those art classes and my new webcomic that increased my awareness of them I have much more of an appreciation for things like the design of hous
